HORSE TRANSPORT

Information.

I have been transporting horses and other pet animals for over 20 years, I have had a lot of experience in loading and travelling horses of every shape and size and my calm patient approach works where others may have failed.

I have a HGV class 1 (Artic) licence which I have held for more years than I care to remember and have been employed in that industry previously for some years.

I own a livery yard with 30 plus horse's from DIY to full livery, from Shetland to Shire. I have competed in eventing, show jumping and dressage, although time does not allow that now, I now ride for pleasure when I get chance.

I specialise in individual care and attention to you, the customer and your animals, I do not do multi drop work. Therefore I am under no time pressure, and your horse does not travel any longer than necessary. I prefer to offer an individually tailored first class service which is sympathetic and professional.

Which means that I can also take all your animal's related belongings such as feed bins, rugs etc' and you can be assured that your animals will arrive at their destination safely, no matter if it is a local or a long distance journey.

Bonjour, Veronica I finally have time to drop you a thank you mail now that the chaos has subsided a little.
Finally we have new stables, post and rail, and new five bar gates, so the clippty clops are now in luxury.

Big bob (still 900kg) is well and penny and rosie the pony still cant stop eating.

The service you provided was first rate, right from the outset putting our minds at rest, your flexibility was
fantastic especially when two horses changed to three at last minute!!
Despite 'Bob' having to take 2 stalls (as he is only 4 meters long nose to tail), causing you to reconfigure your
truck, it was all in a days work. This was of course compounded by me asking you to take my entire tack shed
including barrows, rubber mats, mountain bikes, tables, as well as saddles, rugs and even hay.
I think you said your truck was at 10 ten so no mean feet. And thanks for helping to load & unload!!

The horses arrived in fab condition despite what was their longest ever journey.
The old saying you get what you pay for rings true, a bespoke service that took the pain and grief out of our own
family move. So thank you for not just moving my horses and tack room but for the reassurance and expert
professional service not forgetting the paperwork!!. No stress just happy horses.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for your wonderful care and service. The horses have settled in very well (apart from being extremely frisky!) and took no time at all to recover from the journey. As you are well aware, I was very concerned about their trip. Thank you SO much for taking such good care of my nine monsters miniatures in the move to Normandy. They have all settled in extremely well, even Zebedee has finally
stopped stomping around yelling at everyone. Little 'Bitzy' has fully recovered from his major journeying half way round the world and sends a big kiss for looking after him on his arrival from the USA. He is now bestest pals with Storm, the little buckskin yearling colt.

The boys are quite settled now thanks. Henry was absolutely done in so he took a couple of days to get back to his normal cheeky self! I think he had been resting his back-end on the lorry for the last bit of the journey, so he had a bruised bum, but that's all sorting itself out now so he's definitely recovering from the journey.

They both spent 2 or 3 days walking around the paddock trying to work out why everything looked out of place, but by Friday / Saturday they had both decided that good grass outweighed anything unusual about the location!

Thanks to both of you for handling them so well, it was a real comfort knowing they were in the hands of people who know and work with horses themselves.

Sorry I haven't been in touch sooner but France telecom have only just got me on line.

Thank you for all your help getting my woolie friends to France safely. They have all settled in well and show no ill effects from their journey - unlike the human travellers who took several days to recover. Even the 16 year old,Clementine, has showed no sign of any concern about her long journey.
